Taiwan relation Poland

Lech Walesa, hero of Poland's transformation to democracy, will visit Taiwan in late October as guest of a publishing group and the National Federation of Industries, the China Times reported yesterday.

Mr Walesa will meet top Taiwanese officials and labour leaders, and give speeches in Taipei and Kaohsiung, said the paper published by the China Times Group, which is co-sponsoring the visit.
