Merger out to improve market access

MARKET Intelligence Research Corp (MIRC), the United States-based market research firm, has merged with New York and London-based Frost and Sullivan, the world's largest producer of industrial market research reports and European management training seminars.

MIRC pioneered a unique measurement-based approach to solving high technology market and product problems called ''Market Engineering''.

Frost and Sullivan was one of the instigators of, and is now the current world leader in, the market research report industry.

For more than 30 years Frost and Sullivan has been the industry standard and has produced more than 5,000 reports used by virtually every major high technology manufacturer in the world.

It offers market research publications and electronic data bases in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, telecommunications and other high-tech industries.

The merger means customers of MIRC will benefit from access to a wider range of information, while customers of Frost and Sullivan will have access to MIRC information resources.
