Ocean Park has named Lee Shing-yip, Manuel Woo and Annie S. C. Wu to its board of directors.

Dr Lee is a lecturer in the Department of Ecology and Biodiversity at the University of Hong Kong. He is also the council chairman of the Marine Biological Association of Hong Kong. Mr Woo is the executive director of the Hong Kong Hotels' Association.

He was a council member of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is an independent member on the council's board of trustees for the superannuation fund. He is also a director of the board of the Pacific Asia Travel Association.

 Ms Wu is managing director of Hong Kong Beijing Air Catering, Hong Kong Shanghai Air Catering, China Air Catering and Windows-of-the-World Restaurants.

 She works with the Chinese People's Political Consultative Committee and is the Hong Kong Affairs Adviser for the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, State Council, and Xinhua (the New China News Agency), Hong Kong branch.

H. B. International Holdings has named Malcolm Paton as chief executive officer.

  Mr Paton will have a wider responsibility over the group's daily operations and business development.

 Previously, he was managing director, responsible for overall product and marketing strategy.William Lee Sze-kwong has been appointed executive director of Tung Fong Hung (Holdings).

  He will be in charge of the local retail operation.

 Prior to joining the group, he was a senior ranking officer with the Government. Vigers Hong Kong has named Lawrence Wu as a director. Mr Wu will be responsible for developing the retail business. He was general manager of Hongkong Land from 1987-1993.Citystate Insurance has appointed Tan Kim Huat managing director for Hong Kong.

   Mr Tan joined the Citystate Group in Singapore in 1991 as a member of the management team.

 He was appointed a director and general manager to head the Hong Kong operation in 1993.

 Simon Chow has been named deputy general manger of operations. Mr Chow has been with the Hong Kong office since the inception of the group's insurance underwriting operation.

  Aaron Wou assumes duties as assistant general manager responsible for business development. He has been with the company since 1993 as a development manager.

Eagle Star has promoted Jimmy Poon to assistant general manager of the business development department.

 He will be in charge of the intermediaries channel for the general insurance business and responsible for overall channel management, marketing strategies and business development for the local intermediaries channel.

 Ringo Hung, formerly assistant manager, has been promoted to manager of the business development department. He will be responsible for intermediary management of professional and international brokers for the general insurance business portfolio.

 Barry Hung, formerly assistant manager, has been promoted to manager of the business development department.

 He will be responsible for intermediary management of local brokers and agents for the general insurance business portfolio.

 Sunny Tse, formerly assistant district manager, has been promoted to district manager of the agency division.

  Terry Or has also been named district manager of the agency division.

  Dennis Tang has been promoted business development manager. He will be responsible for general business and providing service support.

  Louis Chan has been promoted to senior manager of technical services. He will be in charge of technical services of general business of the agency division, including underwriting, claims and re-insurance.Gavin Anderson & Company has appointed Walter Jennings as managing director.

 Prior to joining the firm, he managed regional public relations for Edelman Worldwide in Australia.
