MIDDLESBROUGH: Midfielder Jamie Pollock has joined Spanish Second Division club Osasuna on a one-year contract after rejecting a three-year contract with the Premiership side.

 The former England under-21 international, who was linked with a number of Premiership clubs, including Leeds United and Aston Villa, in the summer, had played nearly 200 first team games for Middlesbrough.
