Hazardous

I have noticed that staff of the Urban Services Department (USD) have stepped up enforcement action with regard to cleaning up posters pasted on walls and shop-fronts.

However, I find it very difficult to understand why this action has not extended to the banners and placards put up in our streets by our legislative councillors, district board members and political parties. Such acts are just as criminal as the unauthorised posters. They are hazardous, as they block the vision of motorists.

I would appreciate a reply from the USD.
