Shek O beach sands will undergo an artistic transformation when it hosts the Southern District Sand Sculpture Competition on October 13.
Entries are being invited for one of the seaside village's most popular events.
'Form a team with your family or friends and show your creative skills,' said an Urban Council spokesman.
'Building a sand sculpture is not just good fun but also requires imagination and teamwork. However, since there is room for only 100 teams, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis'.
Each team, comprising two to six members, will compete for trophies in a range of categories.
