Disabled man paid mental patient for sex

A wheelchair-bound man paid a mentally handicapped woman to act as his private call girl, a court heard yesterday.

Chen Ta-sen, 59, met the 29-year-old unemployed woman on June 1 last year in the street in Lam Tin.

He approached her and asked whether she would be interested in earning $200, the District Court was told.

The woman said she would and followed Chen back to his Lam Tin Estate flat, where they had sex.

Chen promised her another $200 if she would visit him again. The pair had sex several more times, the court was told.

On January 13 police doing a spot check at the estate noticed the woman walking up the stairs of Chen's building.
