China breathes easy through Zehnder's indoor climate solutions

As China addresses rising air pollution, the race to bring cleaner air to the region goes into full swing. Having been active in China with its own production and sales facilities since 1996, Zehnder is in a strategic position to address the residential construction sector's growing demand for air filtration and purification systems. As part of its commitment to the region, Zehnder acquired ventilation company Shanghai Nather Air Tech in 2010, and opened its 90,000-square-metre production facility outside of Beijing in October 2013. The facility is focused on serving the local Chinese market. 

Zehnder also sees growth potential in further developing its air filtration segment in the future. Targeting logistics, food processing and production companies, the company has successfully developed a specific vacuum-cleaning technology capable of improving product quality, production processes and working conditions by eliminating fine dust particles.
