Surrounded by stunning vistas of majestic mountains, verdant trees and crystalline waters in the Upper Engadine valley, Suvretta House stands like a magnificent castle. Considered as one of Switzerland's grandest hotels, Suvretta House upholds the tradition of personal hospitality that has been its signature for more than a century.
"We have always had this family-owned touch that distinguishes us from others. We go the extra mile to meet the needs of our discerning guests," say general managers Esther and Peter Egli.
Suvretta House delights guests with its wide variety of summer and winter recreational offerings. In the summertime, when biking and hiking are some activities of choice, the area surrounding Suvretta House comes alive with beautiful flora and fauna. With its own ski school and ski lift, Suvretta House becomes a skier's paradise come wintertime.
Suvretta House is also home to a world-class spa that features the luxury organic skincare and spa brand ilã. Aside from a well-curated menu of pampering treatments, the hotel offers retail experiences with four exclusive boutiques: Vivaia, Agnona, Ermenegildo Zegna and Sport Boutique.
Guests can satisfy their gastronomic cravings and sample modern interpretations of French-international cuisine and authentic Swiss dishes in Suvretta House's restaurants, which include the Grand Restaurant, Suvretta Stube and Anton's Bar. Three mountain restaurants located at the back of Suvretta House offer more choices. The Chasellas brings gourmet delights at 1,936 metres above mean sea level (mamsl). The Trutz serves comfort food and sweet specialities with superb vistas at 2,211 mamsl. The Chamanna at 2,672 mamsl shows off its breathtaking views during the winter season and is the place to enjoy the famous Swiss cheese dish raclette.
Suvretta House primarily caters to European guests but also aims to invite more travellers from Asia for a luxurious and exclusive Swiss experience.
"We want guests to feel that Suvretta House is their home away from home. There's nothing quite like Suvretta House anywhere in the world," Esther and Peter Egli say.
