THREE men splashed acid on the floor of a fashion shop in a Shamshuipo building last night. The 47-year-old woman proprietor was punched when she chased the fleeing youths. Regional Crime Unit detectives said they believed the attack might be triad related. In November last year, tenants of the building had accused property developers of employing housing estate watchmen to harass and even beat tenants into vacating their homes in the building. Legislative Councillor Mr James To Kun-sun said the United Democrats of Hongkong had received complaints from 200 tenants of the building who said they were threatened by watchmen recruited by the new developer.
