Asia moves full steam ahead as the largest market for onshore wind energy. CS Wind - ranked No 1 manufacturer of wind towers - brings world-class wind energy solutions to the region.

"We seal our regional stance by delivering defect-free, premium products on time," says Kim Sung-sup, president and CEO.

Tracing its roots in steel construction, the company celebrates 30 years of unparalleled success. Eight out of 10 major wind turbine companies rely on CS Wind for its high-quality wind towers supporting the turbine.

As testament to its technical expertise and strong global operations, it has produced and exported 5,600 wind towers globally over a 10-year period.

The company is fulfilling long-term supply agreements with blue-chip wind turbine manufacturers including Siemens, Gamesa, Vestas and General Electric.

CS Wind puts a strong emphasis on product localisation in the international market. It operates three production facilities in Canada, China and Vietnam, where it has also diversified into structural steel products for the oil and gas pipelines and power generation industries to supply the local market.

CS Wind's in-house welding training centres likewise help the company maintain competitiveness and top-notch standards.

The company continuously delivers best-in-class performance. In December last year, it forged a deal with Japanese firm Hitachi to supply wind towers for onshore installations.

For its growing offshore business, CS Wind is considering constructing an offshore tower facility in Britain.

"We are at an exciting stage in our trajectory, especially with last year's launching of our IPO to stimulate investor appetite," Kim says.

CS Wind eyes local and global partners with strong sales networks to meet Asia's enormous wind power demand, particularly in China, India and Indonesia.
