Angered by selfish students
I AM a frequent user of the student study room in the Urban Council's Kowloon Central Library and I am disappointed by the inconsiderate behaviour of certain study room users.
Some users put their belongings on empty seats beside them, thereby depriving other people of their right to use the seats for studying purposes.
Not only is this a tremendous waste of government resources, but it also reflects badly on our younger generation, with their display of inconsiderate and selfish behaviour. It is difficult for students who have a lot of work to do.
It seems ironic that the Government spends so much money on education and yet our students cannot find anywhere to read and learn.
Perhaps the librarians could try and work out a system to prevent this abuse.
