THE chef of chefs, Jean Fleury, is coming to Hongkong next week to display his culinary genius at the Hongkong Hilton. The Sunday Morning Post is offering readers the chance to join a private dinner of VIPs and taste Fleury's cuisine. Fleury, chef de cuisine at the world famous Paul Bocuse restaurant near Lyons, France, heads a list of famed French cooks being brought to Hongkong this year by the hotel to celebrate its 30th anniversary. In 1989 Fleury, a member of the Culinary Academyof France, was elected Chef of the Century by the authoritative Gault Millau guide. He will be preparing food at the Hilton Grill from February 15-27, and on the 18th in a private room at the hotel, will put together a special menu for a dinner for a gathering of members of the French community and food experts. A reader and his or her partner can attend this special evening by showing us their own culinary expertise. If you had to invite chef Jean Fleury to your house for dinner, what would you prepare? Send us details of a three-course meal, complete with recipes. The best entry will be picked by the Sunday Morning Post and Hilton. But hurry - your menu must be in by noon this Thursday, February 11. Fax them to 565-1423 or post to Fleury Contest, Sunday Morning Post, Tong Chong Street, Quarry Bay.
