Henderson Land Development has received a tepid response to tomorrow's sale of 56 flats at Metro City in Tseung Kwan O and Tolo Place in Ma On Shan.
It said it registered 69 prospective homebuyers for 32 units at Metro City and 24 units at Tolo Place.
The average price for Metro City units is $4,651 per square foot, down 2.3 per cent from the previous sale. The Tolo Place average is $4,963 per square foot, up 4.8 per cent.
Analysts said homebuyers might be cautious about the uncertainty of the MTR extension to Tseung Kwan O, and the price in Ma On Shan was under pressure due to coming supply.
Sun Hung Kai Properties said it had 70 registrations in the past two days for next week's sale of 20 houses in its Europa Garden in Sheung Shui.
It said it might release additional units for sale.
