PEREGRINE Investment Holdings won damages of US$4.1 million - the full amount sought - in a legal action in District Court in New York against Miriam Segal, the former chairman of its Burma operation. Peregrine, who dismissed Ms Segal last year for allegedly plotting to damage its Burma business, won its case, alleging that she breached fiduciary duties and the terms of her employment contract.
