Why does Shen Guofang , the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman stand behind a dais marked International Club whenever he meets the press? I am surprised that China does not even have a decent news conference room with proper decor to reflect the importance or significance of each presentation. I also noticed that it was only fairly recently that a five-stars red flag was positioned near the officer.

After watching each broadcast, I wonder whether one should take the statements as genuine messages from our supreme leader or just receive them with a grain of salt, for after all Mr Shen is speaking in a venue called International Enjoy Happiness Club (a direct Chinese translation of his platform).
