Marlin Land plans to launch a property management division in China catering to multinational clients, according to Arthur Mirante, president and chief executive officer of Cushman & Wakefield, one of the founding members of Marlin Land.
'We want to focus on extending services that we are providing to clients in the United States,' he said.
Cushman & Wakefield is one of the largest and longest established real estate and property service companies in the US.
It was recently awarded a contract by American Express in the US involving the management of six million square feet.
Mr Mirante said Cushman & Wakefield, through Marlin Land, would provide a range of property management services to these multinationals.
The group's executives said they also hoped to open an office in Shanghai.
