Four more brands of Chinese medicine banned for arsenic

Another four brands of Chinese proprietary medicine found to contain arsenic exceeding the toxic level were banned by the Department of Health, bringing the total to seven.

The four brands to be recalled are: Ding Lu Brand Refined and Powerful Niu Huang Jiedupian; Great Bridge Brand Superior Quality Peking Niu Huang Chien Tu Pien; King Dao Brand Refined Niu Huang Chieh Tu Pien; and Niuhuang Jiedu Pian.
