So callous

I was fortunate enough to spend the last bank holiday within Sai Kung Country Park, a region of stunning natural beauty.

I was completely outraged by the few, equipment-heavy, imbecilic individuals, littering indiscriminately, without the slightest hint of the hazardous despoliation they were so callously compounding. I implore the so-called nature lovers of Hong Kong, the few who are so thoughtless in their actions, to think about what they are destroying. Is it really too much to ask you to take your litter to a more suitable place, other than the dramatic hills and beaches of Sai Kung Country Park? NIGEL COLLINS Lamma
