'Breakfast club' stays

The 'breakfast group' of independents in the Legislative Council is set to continue in the provisional legislature.

Members have been invited to a meeting on Friday by incumbent legislator Eric Li Ka-cheung.

Six independent provisional legislature members have confirmed they will attend.

They are incumbent legislators Andrew Wong Wang-fat, Dr Leong Che-hung, and Paul Cheng Ming-fun; former legislators Hui Yin-fat and Elsie Tu; and Kennedy Wong Ying-ho.

Instead of setting a particular agenda, it is understood they will first 'touch base' and see whether their thoughts follow similar lines.
