THE Manchester United v Spurs FA Cup match on Sunday was so good they're on again this week - just kidding.

I doubt it's due to viewer demand but, by a coincidence of the league schedule with the FA Cup draw, those two sides do clash again in Sunday's live match on Wharf Sports. Last weekend's FA Cup tie was a strange game. There were few talking points and neither side was totally convincing yet there was a fascination in seeing Spurs take on the semblance of a competitive team again after their Newcastle collapse.

United were sound without being spectacular. And Andy Cole proved his reliability once again. You can always rely on him to miss a sitter.

A match-up that could be back by viewer demand, however, is Aston Villa v Newcastle (Wharf on Saturday). Last time these teams met was early in the season (September) and it was a 4-3 thriller seen on ESPN. By all rights it shouldn't have been a thriller as Newcastle led comfortably but their seeming desire to keep the neutrals entertained to the last minute plus Dwight Yorke's hat-trick for Villa made it so.

And now there is the added ingredient of it being the Magpies' first match following Kevin Keegan's resignation bombshell.
