Acer has signed a deal with network technology firm 3Com to tie Acer PC systems to computer networks using 3Com's technology. The agreement allows Acer to ship network-ready systems - machines previously bundled with network interface cards and cabling fixtures - at the value-added reseller and system integrator level.
