Twenty-seven computer-related projects by students from around the world will be showcased next month in Cannes, France.

They will be part of an international computer conference taking place at the festival.

The works will be displayed in the New Talent Pavilion, set up for Milia, an international business forum and conference for online and CD-Rom development.

Works selected were those most likely to interest professionals, a spokesman said.

The students, whose projects have been chosen for their creative and technical expertise, will be present at Milia. The pavilion will be open from February 9 to 12.

The aim of the pavilion is to reveal new creative and technical abilities in online and CD-Rom works and create a link between key market players and up-and-coming artists.
