Hong Kong has been rated the advertising capital of Asia by 61 per cent of respondents in the first Asia Advertising Industry Poll conducted by Asia Business News (ABN) and Media magazine.

Tokyo was second with 23 per cent and Singapore third (9.09 per cent). About 53 per cent of Singaporeans put Hong Kong in the top position.

China (94 per cent) was chosen as having the greatest growth potential in media spending during the next five years followed by Vietnam (50 per cent) and Indonesia (45 per cent). Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore were forecast to have the least growth during the next five years.
