A man accused of raping and robbing prostitutes yesterday pleaded guilty to blackmailing four such women. Keung Chi-shing, 41, married with a 10-year-old child, told the jury he had asked the women for money and told them he was 'one of the local bullies'. The confession came after Keung gave evidence in his defence. After a short adjournment he pleaded guilty to four charges of blackmail as alternatives to previous robbery allegations. His High Court trial on three rape charges, which he denies, will continue today. Keung was originally accused of eight rapes and eight robberies. But not guilty verdicts were entered in relation to 10 of the charges on the directions of Deputy Judge Wesley Wong Wing-fai.
