AMS team

I refer to the article published on page three of the Sunday Morning Post, on January 19, concerning the Police Dowman Road Race at Sai Kung Country Park.

I wish to point out that one of the photo captions wrongly reported that the relief services were provided by the Police Medical Team.

In fact the medical team was deployed by the Auxiliary Medical Services (AMS).

The members in uniform were the trained volunteer members of the AMS Emergency Response Task Force (ERTF).

They provided on-the-spot paramedic care to the collapsed police officers on that day.
