Hong Kong national players have been warned to control their temper on the field following the unsightly brawl during their exhibition match against Cerezo Osaka last Sunday.
The incident started when South China utility player Song Lianyong was adjudged to have fouled Cerezo forward Akinori Nishizawa in the 42nd mintue.
Other Cerezo players rushed to the spot and argued with Song, who was disputing the ruling with the referee.

Song then appeared to head-butt Japanese mid-fielder Katsuhiro Minamoto whose teammate Masanori Kizawa retaliated by hitting Song on his chest.
The brawl escalated from there with players from both sides joining the fray.
