Different people make different impressions on others: some seem amiable, some unsympathetic.

   Some people put you so much at ease when you first meet them that you immediately want to be friends.

  But there are those whose smiles never reach their eyes, who keep everyone at arm's length.

  Among intellectuals there are those who exude warmth and who make you feel you are one of them, but there are those who intimidate you with their boasting.

  Some people are well-liked, but others are highly objectionable. Who wants to be spurned for being objectionable? The secret lies in sparing a thought for others.

   Why should we queue up for a bus? We want to hurry home, so do others.

   Why should we return a borrowed book? Others want to read it as much as you. Spare a thought for others.

    Why should we treat everyone with kindness and sympathy? To communicate better and understand each other better.

  Spare a thought for others. It helps to remove barriers between people.

    Why should we apologise for making mistakes and for doing something wrong?    We have caused trouble for others and we have to make good the damage we have done. Spare a thought for others!    Some people think our society lives by the law of the jungle. You may be considerate of others but others may not be as considerate to you. A bad bargain, maybe.

   If we had to live in an atmosphere of deceit and trickery, we would appreciate all the more genuine consideration and helpfulness among people. If everyone could spare a thought for others, there would be fewer barriers and less conflict among people.

  Only those who are truly considerate of others can have a place in society, for they always live among friends. Think a little 1.
