Man denies cult prostitute charge

A cult leader induced women to work as prostitutes to repent their sins, North Kowloon Court heard. Mo Wan-lung, 34, unemployed, denied a charge of living off the earnings of a 19-year-old prostitute in Mongkok between April and August last year.

The women were required to give $5,000 a month to the cult, it was alleged. Mo was remanded in custody until trial on May 7.
