England have finally pared down their sevens squad to the required number of 10 to defend the World Cup title they won in 1993. Will Greenwood and Shane Roiser are omitted from the squad which includes six survivors from those who won at Murrayfield four years ago. England will be led by flanker Lawrence Dallaglio and his fellow survivors from the success at Murrayfield are Adedayo Adebayo, Nick Beal, David Scully, Tim Rodber and Chris Sheasby. The continuity from 1993 is also reflected in the management team. Andrew Harriman was captain at Murrayfield and is now the manager, while Les Cusworth is again coach. England are grouped with Zimbabwe and Canada in Pool A.
