With a little bit of help from their men, the Fiji women's team are looking forward to making waves at the inaugural Hong Kong Invitation Women's Rugby Sevens, which begins at Aberdeen Stadium today. 'Before coming here, we trained with Waisale Serevi and his team, who will come for the World Cup Sevens. They have helped us a lot and I feel we can be very competitive,' said Laijipa Naulivou, Fiji captain. Favourites to win the 12-team competition are England and the United States. But Fiji could well be the surprise package. The 12 teams are split into two groups, who will play in a round-robin format. The top two from each group advance to the Cup, the third and fourth move into the Plate competition, and the last two play in the Bowl tomorrow.
