Driver admits plot

Truck driver Fung Kam-tong, 40, admitted plotting with a former chief Customs officer to smuggle a minibus to the mainland. The Crown said the defendant was asked to take a container from Kwai Chung with his tractor to Lok Ma Chau and he filled in a form claiming the container was empty. Judge Richard Davies adjourned the case until April 7 for sentence.
