England captain Lawrence Dallaglio is a doubtful starter for next weekend's Rugby World Cup Sevens. There are fears that flanker Dallaglio, who pulled out of the side which played Wales in the Five Nation's championship because of a bad cold, could develop tonsilitis. 'It seems more than a heavy cold,' Dallaglio said yesterday. His blindside place in Cardiff was taken by Ben Clarke, with Chris Sheasby coming on to the replacements' bench. Dallaglio is one of six survivors from the England team which won the inaugural World Cup Sevens. The others, who are due to arrive in Hong Kong on Monday are Sheasby, Adedayo Adebayo, Nick Beal, David Scully and Tim Rodber. Meanwhile, New Zealand were the first team to arrive, coming in late last night. All the other teams have to be in by Monday, to comply with IRB regulations.
