Well-known local rugby players Riaz Fredericks, Nigel Dacre, Warren Warner and Alan Clark were the liaison officers for the Hong Kong Invitation Women's Rugby Sevens.

  The foursome were showing the sights and the ropes to teams from the Arabian Gulf to New Zealand and Scotland.

  Sadly, equal opportunity does not exist for the Hong Kong rugby womenfolk. All 24 teams for the Rugby World Cup Sevens will be looked after by men.
