Sherman Leung Kam-bor MONDAY: I attended assembly in the morning, planned the forthcoming parents' gathering, reviewed the janitor staff system with the teacher-in-charge and chaired the panel meeting. TUESDAY: Hall assembly as usual, followed by Home-School Co-operation meeting. In order to expand school resources, a meeting was held with book publishers. Afterwards, I liaised with the Education Department on several matters, prepared the working schedule for the SMI (School Management Initiative) preparation committee meeting and met the Chinese panel heads on the evaluation of the Education Department's full Chinese inspection. WEDNESDAY: I interviewed three teachers about students' performance and visited two Form Four classes to discuss ways of encouraging further achievements. Then, I followed up on the School Improvement Programme. I also met the chairman and director of Stewards, our sponsoring body. THURSDAY: The progress of the major repairs in school was evaluated. This was followed by a discussion with English panels on an English enrichment programme for Form Three students. Then I attended an SMI workshop. In the afternoon, I cheered for the school team in the inter-school basketball competition. FRIDAY: I attended a workshop called 'Designing Schools for the 21st Century: Consideration for Hong Kong School Leaders'.
