Silver Grant profit up 51.5pc

Silver Grant International Industries has announced a 51.5 per cent increase in net profit for the year to December 31, 1996, to $165.2 million. Most of the profits came from the sale of 80 million H-shares which generated profits of $163.4 million and $19.3 million from the sale of three properties. Directors declared a final dividend of six cents per share.
