Investment in leadership training

AIA Foundation vice-president Alwin Lam Mun-dait says the leadership training scheme will become an annual programme for university students.

He said the foundation's education committee had set aside about $600,000 for leadership training purposes.

The scheme is broken up into three areas. The first is leadership workshops, involving four well-known business and political leaders who will share their skills with students.

Second is participation in the Leadership Training Programme. Third is a field trip within Southeast Asia, in this case Singapore and Malaysia.
