Scindia Steamship Navigation Co, India's oldest shipping company, is in talks with a foreign shipping firm to dispose of its last vessel, Jalatapi, for about US$2.5 million.

  Scindia, which is in the red, is unlikely to be wound up after selling its ship, sources say. Shareholders are to vote on its fate.



Scindia's last vessel set to go
