Proposal for securities industry

SINCE the massive over-subscription of Denway International Holdings there have been reports in your newspaper discussing alternative methods so that there is no pressure on the banks and government to inject funds into the market.

I suggest that the securities industry adopt the old method as in the early 70s to only cash cheques of wholly or partial successful applicants. This would release a lot of pressure on the system and allow individual investors to use their funds immediately instead of waiting for a refund.

I hope the securities industry give this proposal serious consideration.
