The Irishman originally planned to end his Hong Kong season on Saturday, but the re-arranged World Cup in Dubai scuppered those plans.
He said: 'I will leave Hong Kong on Wednesday for Dubai and will go on to Ireland from there.' Trainer David Oughton said he was sorry to lose a rider of Kinane's calibre.
'I would love to have had him back, but he has given it a lot of thought and it is his decision,' he said.
