Property development company Cheung Kong has boosted its holdings in associate Hutchison Whampoa to 47.79 per cent, according to stock exchange information.

Cheung Kong chairman Li Ka-shing and his two sons, Richard and Victor, hold about 50.02 per cent of Hutchison, partly in personal trusts.
Once Cheung Kong holds 50 per cent of Hutchison shares it will be able to consolidate Hutchison's earnings into its own accounts.
