NEW Zealand jockey Grant Davison has made a major impression during his international stint at Taipa and he can land another winner today when he takes out My King's Island in the sixth event.

 My King's Island ran a cracking race last time out over today's distance of 1,500 metres when he finished second.

 The main danger could be Let Us Champion who found 1,800 metres too long for him last time and will be much better suited by today's distance. He has been freshened up and should give a good sight for Tony Ives.

 It's been a lean season for Irish trainer Johnny Roe but Strong Runner should help to turn things around in the fourth event.

 He was unlucky to run into one too good at his last start when pipped by a short head over 1,400 metres but he should get the extra distance today and has been prepared for a top showing.

 Useful sprinter Gleeful Delight faces his stiffest test to date when competing in the Class Three, 1,000-metre third event.

 The speedster is trained by former Hongkong amateur jockey George Williams, who has made a success of his first season at Taipa.

 Gleeful Delight has won two of his last three starts and has drawn right against the rails today, making him the one to beat in this field of 13.

 It's been an up-and-down fortnight for Florence Mills who last week lost three excellent horses - but this week got three replacements, at the expense of Kevin Connolly.

 And she's not without a winning chance in the opening event where she saddles up Wing Chaser over 1,700 metres.

 The gelding finished a fair third last time out, weakening slightly in the run home after hitting the front at the top of the straight. But that was over 1,900 metres and the lesser trip today might just be the answer.

     Topweight Diamond Ball (139 pounds) clearly looms as the principal danger.
