Tennis, squash and fencing beginners attended a four-day training camp at Lei Yue Mun Park Holiday Village. The camp was organised by the School Sports Promotion Scheme run by the Urban Council and Hong Kong Schools Sports Association. As an incentive, prizes were awarded to winners in a competition after the training programme. Association secretary Silas Chiang Tak-cheung said the scheme was in its fourth year, thanks to the council's funding. 'It is hoped more primary students will benefit next year,' he said. The young sportsmen and women relished the special training at the camp and many took home prizes and sports equipment and improved their skills. Results (Secondary section) Tennis (Boys): 1.
