Watch and electronics maker Same Time raced ahead 41.67 per cent yesterday after unveiling a share placement to boost working capital.

The counter jumped 35 cents to $1.19. It was the day's most active issue by volume on trade of 123 million shares.
The company said it was selling 26 million new shares at 76 cents to raise $19 million. The new shares are equal to 8.3 per cent of the company. Major shareholder Sum Tai Holdings has bought all the shares and is selling 26 million of its own shares in the company at the same price.
One broker said: 'Because of the share placement people are chasing the stock.'
