I refer to the picture and caption on the front page of the Sunday Morning Post, on April 6, concerning dragon-boating and the Hong Kong Island Paddle Club (HKIPC).
The caption is misleading for although the club is indeed representing Hong Kong in the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival to be held on June 14 and 15, the representatives for Hong Kong in the Dragon Boat World Cup which is also to be held in Hong Kong (June 12-15), are to be the Hong Kong team and others to be selected on the basis of the results of the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Championships which are to be held at Sha Tin on May 4.
HKIPC would like to represent Hong Kong in the World Cup and members are therefore training hard to be successful at Sha Tin.
