Charisma is well worth taking as a banker in the opening Triple Trio event at Happy Valley tomorrow night.
As usual the Triple Trio operates on races three, four and six and requires punters to find the first three in any order in all of these events.
One of the most tricky things about racing at the Valley is how the track will ride and which of two possible biases will operate.
At the most recent meetings, with the rail out, there has been a profound bias to those coming from behind and out wide.
Conversely, leaders have been at a terrible disadvantage and a walk across the track confirmed why. The inside, for a width of about five horses, has been churned into a virtual quagmire with some holes four or five inches deep and taking a whole size 11 shoe.
Out wide, the ground remains more compact.
