Elsie Tu is right (South China Morning Post, April 18) and I have to take issue with the reply from B.W. Choy (Post, April 21) about the former Beaconsfield House construction (destruction?) site in Central.

 I passed this way on the morning of April 21 and had to walk on the road with nothing to separate me from traffic (two visitors can confirm this).

 Check your facts Mr Choy before getting on your high horse.
