New chief for narcotics post

MR Alasdair Sinclair, former principal assistant secretary for security, today becomes Commissioner for Narcotics, replacing Mr Ken Woodhouse who was made Deputy Secretary for Security on December 21.

Mr Sinclair, 41, joined the Government in 1976. He has held several posts in the Government Secretariat and departments including the Civil Service Branch, City and New Territories Administration, Finance Branch and Monetary Affairs.
