Sandwich-class citizens in Hong Kong have seen a huge percentage increase in the valuation of their flat and quarterly rates.
My flat valuation increased from $108,800 to $180,480, a rise of 67 per cent.
My flat's quarterly rates rose from $1,468 to $2,256, up 54 per cent.
However, quarterly rates for expensive Mid-Levels flats only rose from $2,100 to $2,310 - a 10 per cent increase.
