GIANFRANCO Zola has hinted he might quit English side Chelsea at the end of next season.
The 30-year-old Sardinian has been the pick of this year's crop of foreign imports in England since his GBP4.5 million move from Italy.
Outstanding performances and some marvellous goals - 12 in all competitions - have helped lead Ruud Gullit's Blues to their FA Cup final showdown with Middlesbrough on May 17.
Despite plunging a dagger into England's World Cup hopes at Wembley in February by scoring the game's only goal, Zola is among the favourites to be named Football Writers' Footballer of the Year next month.
But while Zola signed a contract taking him up until the end of the 1999-2000 season when he joined Chelsea from Parma, he signalled that he might be looking to bail out early.
'The thing I'm sure of is that I'll remain in London next year, but then we'll see,' Zola said.
